Free workshops for parents who choose—or are considering the choice—to be an at-home parent as well as for those who were pushed or led home by circumstance. Meet with a small group of participants and a facilitator via Zoom, 90 minutes/week for six weeks, to explore ideas, feelings, experiences, resources. Our workshop materials offer optional readings and activities.
Transitioning Home workshops and all materials are free. Please join our online community (also free): Family and Home Community and see the scheduled Transitioning Home workshop groups. Please let us know if you have any questions. Once you're in the community, you can contact us easily there.

About Transitioning Home workshops:
During this six-week series, we’ll cover many topics including:
- Expectations, personal identity and the potential for personal growth
- The needs of infants and the critical mother-infant relationship
- Myths and realities of a home-based life
- Family, community, cultural influences
- Finding support and resources
There are many ways to thrive, families are diverse and many change their income earning / caregiving arrangements as their families change and grow. Our workshops are built on our grassroots nonprofit organization's four decades of communicating with parents. We look forward to meeting you!
